Spring 2026 Events

Join us for our Academic Lecture with Dr. Jay Smith
In the last 20 years, academic scholars studying Islam have begun to ask significantly critical questions about Islam’s origins. In this academic lecture, Dr. Jay Smith will share some of their remarkable findings, focusing especially on three key foundations of Islam: the city of Mecca, Muhammad, and the Quran. Can we really trust what Muslims claim about early Islam?
This new research is both controversial and exciting, raising significant questions about long-held Muslim claims. The lecture will also explore how these findings can be applied in Christian-Muslim apologetics and evangelism.
Dr. Jay Smith has been working with Muslims for over 40 years. He holds two master’s degrees and earned his PhD in apologetics and polemics from the Melbourne School of Theology in Australia. An expert in Christian-Muslim apologetics, Dr. Smith spends much of his time traveling internationally to teach and train Christians to engage Muslims with clarity and conviction.
This academic lecture will take place on Friday, February 6, 5:00–8:00pm, in Heritage Hall. There will be two lectures in one evening, with dinner in between.
Please RSVP so we can plan well for space and food.
We look forward to seeing you!

Evangelism with the Jenkins Center
“While some of us are called to go to the ends of the earth, which includes Muslim countries, others already have many Muslim neighbors in their backyard.” – Dr. Ibrahim, from Reaching Your Muslim Neighbor with the Gospel
Throughout the semester, the Jenkins Center offers an opportunity to share the gospel with Muslims in our local community. Each gathering begins with a shared meal and prayer at the Jenkins Center, followed by outreach in teams to various locations to engage in gospel conversations. We look forward to making Christ known among our Muslim neighbors.
Lunch will be provided.
Please sign up in advance so we can plan accordingly for carpooling and food.

Prayer for Muslims During Ramadan
“Unless we recognize that God is the one who draws souls to him and saves them, our work is in vain.” – Dr. Ibrahim, from Reaching Your Muslim Neighbor with the Gospel
Ramadan is the holiest month for billions of Muslims, as they fast from sunrise to sunset to please their deity, hoping to receive his favor. At the Jenkins Center, as Christ’s followers, we will hold a daily intercessory prayer meeting during the month of Ramadan, to pray for the salvation of 1.8 billion Muslims around the world.
Join us 9:00-9:30 am from February 16 to March 13 at the Jenkins Center!
